Olive Harvest Events - THIS WEEKEND
IWe are starting to harvest and press olives the weekend of Sept. 13th.  You're invited to join one of our Saturday tours at 10AM or 1PM to see the press in action and taste VERY fresh olive oil! 

You can view the olive press in action every Saturday in September (depending on Mother Nature of course and maybe through the 1st week of Oct).  Check this site before you visit for updates.

Olive Trees Available For Sale!
We have 5 year old Mission & Arbequina variety olive trees for sale in 1, 3 and 15 gallon containers. Full planting & care instructions when purchasing trees.

Current Wine Tasting
Come taste the 2007 Lyte Whyte (Chenin Blanc), 2005 Syrah 2006 Syrah, Tejanti (sangiovese/cab franc blend) and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Room and Gift Shop 
We invite you to visit our tasting room and gift shop during our normal business hours. You can sample  multiple fresh olive oils, jams made from fruit off the ranch, hand crafted wines and other gourmet foods.  

Orchard Tours and Formal Tastings - SAT. 10:00AM, 1:00 PM;                        SUN. 12:00 Noon
We enjoy sharing our "Touch of Tuscany In Texas" with the public and invite you to learn more about the structure of a traditional Italian family farm; an in-depth exploration of olive trees and their oils. Tour fees are $10 per person and allow you to walk through the picturesque olive orchards and gardens, while your host provides a thorough overview including:

• the history of olive trees
• the agricultural aspects of growing olive trees and olive cultivation*
• a close-up view of the olive press, known in Italian as a "frantoio"
• a definition of high quality, extra virgin olive oil
• a guided olive oil tasting
• the protocol and sensory evaluation of multiple oils
• formal tasting of all items in the store, including all wines

*Wear comfortable shoes to walk in the fields and orchards.

Tours are scheduled at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Saturdays. SUNDAYS:  Tours at 12:00 Noon only.

Private Group Tours & Events                                                                                       We are open for private tours Monday through Friday and can host your special events, from corporate outings, to social groups, to rehearsal dinners and everything in-between. We offer catering of h'ors dourves, lunches, formal wine tasting, dinners, etc. to fit your needs.  Private tours are available any day of the week, per your reservation needs, for groups of 10 or more. We book up early, so please call 512-847-6514 or email events@bvranch.com to discuss your needs, fees, menus and to make reservations.
